Why Vienna?
Vienna. Now. Forever.
"Vienna offers the experiences of a major world capital, without the stress factors associated with a major world capital,” - Director of Tourism Norbert Kettner
There is a reason Vienna is consistently Number 1 the Global Quality of Living Index: it has everything. Vienna is a beautiful old city, dating back to Roman times with the inner city looking much the same as it did during the days of the Habsburg empire, over 100 years ago. It was also home to famous composers such as Beethoven, Mozart and Strauss and reminders of their legacy can be found all over the city. In addition to history and culture, Vienna is a truly green city, with countless parks you can relax in and one of the best public infrastructures in the world, making it easy to get around. It's location along the Danube also allows for various water activities and with the summer promising sunny and warm weather there is no shortage of things to do outdoors. The countryside is just within reach with many local villages only an hour away and offering wonderful hiking and biking opportunities.
If that is not enough, Vienna bars and restaurants offer something for every taste, ranging from classic Austrian food and excellent beer on tap (wonderful after training) to a multitude of international cuisine, as well as craft beer, cocktail bars, vegan restaurants and everything in between. We even have an international food festival that is on all summer! Of course, don't forget the classic "Heuriger" experience of sitting outside in the vineyards, enjoying some local wine and juice along with some homemade cold cuts and Austrian specialties.
In addition to all that, we had plenty of visitors since the Vienna Jitsu club was founded in 2014 and we daresay not one of them has had a bad experience coming here, with many having been back for seconds (or thirds) since then :-).
